our clients are a busy young family. the brief was to create a kitchen designed for cooking, entertaining, and socialising.
Our Hanami range of cabinets – classic but contemporary – complements the Georgian architecture of the house. fossilized textured oak finish is paired with brown amber natural quartzite stone, in a textured finish.
for the tall cabinets, we chose a hand-rendered specialized cement finish. hard-wearing, tactile, and warm. a secret door at the end leads through to the scullery kitchen and doubles up as a walk-in pantry space. the island is orientated to capitalise on the views out to the rolling Chiltern hills.
